First Post.
I searched and didn't see this deal anywhere, thought I would let you guys know. Apologies if this has already been posted.

Lowes has a deal on their 40v and 80v bare tools. In the provided link it sometimes doesn't show the discount, but as soon as you go to check out it is applied.
For instance the 40v chainsaw looks like $99 but once you put in your cart it comes up as $49.99
I've also included a screenshot of the prices so you don't have to go through to the checkout to find each price.

40v Chainsaw $49.99 (reg $99.99)
40v leafblower $39.99 (reg $79.99)
40v 13" string trimmer $44.49 (reg $89.99)
40v Polesaw $59.50 (reg $119.00)
80v 16" string trimmer $84.50 (reg 169.99)
80v Leaf Blower $64.50 (reg $129.99)
80v Chainsaw $99.50 (reg $199.00)
80v Backpack Leaf Blower $124.50 (reg $249.00)

Happy Shopping!

The tools are at good prices, but bare.

$199 for an 80v battery? Does that not kill the deal??

A deal is still a deal, especially if you already have the batteries for the respective tools. I personally have the 40v system and it works like a charm! Powerful and very effective! It's too bad the hedge trimmer bare tool isn't on sale. I'd have jumped all over it! :)

after you factor in the battery .. price is warm at best. Only good if you already have Kobalt batteries.

do people buy backup tools at these prices, or is it more so that you already have a tool/battery and you buy another tool you don't already have that runs on the same battery?

Picked up the pole saw, leaf blower and chainsaw. Will go nicely with the grass and hedge trimmer and batteries I picked up for $99 each during the sale a couple weeks ago

Nice. I’ve been meaning to grab the trimmer to go with my mower, but always missed the sales.

For me it is the latter. I have the 40V mower, and picked up the chainsaw just because it will be handy.

Good thing I read all the posts here. It's Tool Only so no battery is included. That totally kills the deal.

Good choice! I have the trimmer and it's excellent! Way more powerful than anything that's 18v. At this price, it's a fraction of the cost too :)

Damn, I missed picking up the pole saw earlier so I can't pick any of these up as they have no batteries. Anyone considering selling one of their batteries+charger for ~ $50? :)
