Would love to get EGO snowblower and lawn mower with this promo.
Too bad EGO is only at home depot.

I'm fine with calling out downvoters. Because they're anonymous and the only way to downvote, some people like to get a kick out of it and/or some measure of power over another user's thread.

OP thanked.

Here's a topic to keep ye distracted...

Current 17yr old one-pull gas mower deck rusted through, is now crippled. Had to rejig with a coat hanger to level/balance it out.

Battery type's tempting, holding back at the prospect of having to pay 2 arms n a leg 3-5yr down the road for a new battery.

Corded one looks painfully painful.

Gas type seems kinda callous towards the environment.

Your thoughts?
Also depends on the size of your lawn imho. With the new homes being built today and minimal yards many can get by with a whippersnipper for the entire space. ;-)
The environmental impact of not properly recycled batteries is bigger than gas, but since you care enough to question then you'll be recycling it.
We have a gigantic lot in an old neighbourhood, took 2.5 hours the first year each time to mow, then another hour to trim, so we bought a tractor. When the first tractor went (we got it second hand) we didn't hesitate to buy a new one. And Costco sells the replacement batteries.

I went corded during the buy one get a free pressure washer deal.

So far I'm loving the dirt cheap Greenworks 14 inch. Takes a bit longer since the cutting surface is smaller, but it is like using a vacuum cleaner! So light it folds up and has a carry handle to store away.

The cord isn't an issue because I already had a long one. If you can vacuum a floor without running over a cord you can handle a corded mower. If you have consistent access to an electrical outlet where you're mowing, seems like a no brainer to me!

I've had 2 family members try it (both with back issues) and they loved it. They are hoping for a sale soon.

That said.. a big lawn or harder access to power decrease it's appeal.
is this the one you are talking about? how much did you pay for it? I have a small backyard and small front yard but need to carry to mower through the house to get to the front and back, would you recommend this?

There was a banner yesterday on the home page.
Gone now but should reappear tomorrow night...

Downvote - unable to get deal that starts in 2 days? LOL
RFD needs to do something about these stupid downvotes....at least put an option for downvote "i'm a useless troll and just like downvoting things".
Seriously...if you think this kind of post is wasting your time move along...not just from the post how about the site completely. 17 downvotes? The sense of entitlement is mind boggling.

Lowe's Kobalt battery operated lawn mower is rated after EGO in terms of efficiency. If you can buy it on sale, it is a very good buy. My son has one and it does perform exceedingly well.

Comments on RFD have saved me money. Let's just leave at that. I'm grateful.
