[Lowe's] Snow Blower Briggs and Stratton 27 inch 250cc

Briggs & Stratton 250cc 27-in Two-Stage Gas Snow Blower. Reg price $1299 on for $999. Buy more save more code SAVE15 makes it $849.15 plus tax so $959.54. I did not see it posted. Yes I looked. I did not have much time to post this. I will check comments if I need to change anything. It is a great snow blower. I have the 24inch 208cc version. I got mine for $671 last yr and almost want to buy this bigger one but no need. Both have great reviews. Head Light, Auto Start, Dash mounted chute/deflector control, 6 fwd and 2 reverse speeds.

My 2014 craftsman 27 inch has the same motor and is pretty close to being the same snow blower except has steering as well. The 250 motor is great for putting snow onto your snow banks but there is times I wish it was a 305 to have a bit more power for throwing snow further onto the city boulevard.

I can not see that happening unless at the end of the season. A lot of snow blowers went up by about $100 this year. My B&S 24 inch was $999 last year and is $1099 this year Reg priced. It might go down cheaper but you might be shovelling.

I still cannot find a deal close to my 2013 craftman (was posted on RFD) at 305cc and 27 inch wide. I paid 799$+ tax (on sale). It doesn't have some features that other have like heated grips but works A1.

Looking at this for 850$ + tax is not bad since you are getting a wide cut and good power if you ave a big driveway.

I think there will be another debate on single vs dual stage snowblower soon but it's fun to see the snowblower deals coming up but I don't like winter haha.

There's so many deals out there and price variation depending on where you live that it's hard to get the deal you want. Sometimes you just need to jump on one so you have something to use for the winter :)

I just picked up and assembled the 24”one that was on sale a few weeks ago, never used a snowblower before, was wondering how this one, and all really, turn around when it seems both wheels rotate in tandem?

Unless they have the steering feature, you just have to muscle them around. You can pull the pin from one wheel on most and just have one drive wheel. This make it easier to turn in one direction but in heavy snow it tends to pull to the drive side. Either way, a snowblower is a workout.
