Lucy's is also in Waterloo and Waterloo is not even remotely part of the GTA.

I went to Lucy's once and I was disappointed.
I guess I should have asked how the food would be done. I had no idea and wasn't expecting all the seafood I ordered were deep fried. I'd rather having seafood steamed or at least in light favour (i.e. sashimi) so the original flavour would be complemented or not overpowered by the greasy smell. And also it could tell how fresh the seafood really was without being deep fried.

I tried to get this at the Waterloo Lucy's but the server hadn't heard of any such deal. But as the fish & chips is $11.95 regular price (+tax), I still wound up getting it. Pretty good fish & chips, lots of fish and not a stupid amount of breading.
Incidentally, the absolute WORST fish & chips I ever had was in England. You'd figure, you know, England, they invented fish & chips, they should be able to manage it right. Right? No. My God. Breading which was alternately soggy and fried into a hard lump, tiny little bits of fish that was somehow *dry*... bad stuff.
Funny enough, the absolute worst ever hot dog I've ever had was also in England, from a hot dog street vendor at the north end of London Bridge. I swear, there was no meat, just gristle and maybe a bit of sawdust for flavour.
