[Lukewarm] TigerDirect - EVGA Z68 mATX board $65 AR + S&H
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicatio...?EdpNo=1125852 EARN CASH BACK
Has SLi capability. Each the PCI-E 16x slots are both hardwired at 8x.
I think this is a decent deal for anyone who wants to upgrade from a h61/h67 board and also good for HTPC

Reason: Added vendor "TigerDirect" to the thread title (nsx).

It does look like they haven't issued a BIOS update. Technically any 1155 board can, it's a matter of if the manufacturer will update to the BIOS to do so. Anyway I wouldn't hold out hope as it's past that already.
I will say that if you can partner this is up with a 2500K you're going to have one monster combo for next to nothing. I've seen the 2500K for $89 in some places.

OP Thanks! Picked one up. Pretty good reviews and it does support Ivy bridge with bios update. EVGA seems to have very good support as well.
With the MIR, RFD cash back and Paypal 5% cash back it comes to about $68 delivered, tax in for an Z68 board. NICE!!

Note that a graphic card is needed, no DVI or other display output from the board.

$89 for a 2500K would be excellent. The best price I have seen was from Microcenter in the USA when they had it for $99.

This board might support IB out of the box. My Gigabyte z68 did.

Kind of makes this a less than ideal solution for a htpc since you would need to add an external video card. For an htpc, the Intel HD video should be fine, as it also supports bitstreaming HD audio.

you're making me want to buy this now without anything else to show for a new build
I was hoping to hold out until I find a sandy bridge (either an i3 or an i5 if i can get a good enough deal)
hopefully its not sold out by then
they just posted a bios update for this board. evga had to rewrite the whole bios to accommodate ivy bridge in the beta update. not entirely sure if the quirks are worked out (some reporting memory caps at 1866, others reporting random issues)
you will need to pop a sandybridge in it first to flash the bios (if you're using ivy that is)
Newegg had the full atx of this board on sale (price error) for 66 dollars (-10 rebate) the other day. They have since updated price back to 109.99 (-10)
However, it seems the micro has far less problems than the atx version
They have a z75 version for 119.99 (-20 rebate) at tiger direct as well (looks like a solid board except for low 4k sequential write speeds... which is a big deal)
Out of all three of the boards ive been looking at.. this is the best one for the price
What are you planning on using the board for? Htpc?

It's still available at Newegg.ca for $66.99 - $10 MIR + shipping.
