From the VIP event I went to on Saturday, I put down a 5k cheque and on Wednesday when they announce prices, floor plans and details, I can buy. But from the brochure they gave me on Saturday they had these prices: low 200s for 1 bdrm, high 200s for 1+1, and mid 300s for 2 bdrm. Parking would be 20-25k and no storage included.

So if I'm looking for a 2 bdrm with locker and parking, I'll be looking at basically 400k that will finish in 5 years. Right now on MLS, 2bdrm in Absolute is about 350-450k. Hard to predict if the market will go up that much more in Mississauga in 5 years or to the general real estate market in the GTA.

I don't know if things changed, but absolute management is a disaster. You certainly can't compare the prices to that failed development. Just look at the condo fees.

This is from the realtor at the VIP event (it may not be 100% accurate cause everything will be announced tomorrow) but she said $5k deposit, if you agree then you do all the paperwork on Saturday and pay 5% minus the 5k within 30 days, 5% within 180, 5% within 300 then the final 5% within closing. But don't quote me on this. I can let you guys know more details tomorrow when I find out.

Got the price list. Development charges are capped as well between $6-$8k and they allow assignments.

So parking and locker are only available to 400+ units. Or only the locker
