OmniFocus is great, but still can't justify whether it worth it or not.
mac+iphone+ipad version costs something like 80+tax even when it's on sale.

Thanks OP! Great timing -- I purchased Pixelmator as my trial was almost up. Fantastic application for when I can't be bothered to fire up Photoshop (or just don't want to wait for the load times). Lots of intuitive features that PS doesn't have either.
I use Reeder on my iPhone and iPad -- best RSS app out there -- but never was impressed by the Mac application when it was beta. At this price I may give it another shot.
Also, for those that don't know, the Instapaper app is the free app of the week at Starbucks. Excellent app -- normally $4.99 -- for free.

I went to buy Pixelmator but was about 20 cents short in my account after taxes were added. No way I am using my credit card, so off to sniff out a sale after work (I think they are 20% off again here and there)
How does that work? Do you have to be logged in via StarBucks wi-fi to get the deal or what?
NVM - answered my own question. It turns out Google IS my friend after all!!

the only app i paid is whatsapp, not because it is good(it is pretty bad IMO) but it takes two to tango in terms of IM and for some reasons people like whatsapp.

I paid full price for the iPad/iphone versions and paid edu pricing for OmniFocus and found it worth what I paid. I think it's an amazing deal at the current prices.
Omni does offer a 30day refund period, so if you are sitting on the fence I'd recommended going ahead and then you have 30 days to decide if it's worth it for you. I don't think prices will ever be lower.
And thanks for the post OP, I think I may pick up MindNode Pro, otherwise I already own most of the apps on the list that are of interest to me.
