Mac to PC via Ext Hd

I've got all my pc files on an external hd but i cant add mac files or even drag from pc to mac, it can't even delete.
Is there a way where i can add or delete files from the drive without having to erast everything and got to FAT32 system?
I thought his mac thing would be easy but it's just as much trouble as windows.

I believe there's a program that will allow to write to NTFS partitions. I forget the name though. GOogle!
