Macbook Pro
I wanna upgrade to a MBP from my ancient Intel Core Due MB. I went to Apple yesterday and the thing is i really dont like the look of the new MBP (im sure its a better computer, but the two tone just looks...cheap to me), I asked them if they had any of the older one with the aluminum casing, but they didnt.
So basically, I think I should be able to get the one i really want AND save money too, so win win. Can anyone tell me what specs I should look for in the prev gen (aluminum body) 15'' MBP. And where/how I can pick one up for the best price.
I really dont need the better specs on the new MBP as this is going to be used for school mostly, so when it comes down to it, it does come down to aesthetics and price!
Or if anyone here has one they are looking to sell, because they needed the faster one, drop me a shout too!

Bah, I have the same Core Duo I bought off my brother a few months back. Mine's in black. It's not a bad notebook; not sure why you need to upgrade if you are just using it for school.

shes definately closer to a refurb than brand new, but i think at my age brand new would land me behind bars hahaha
anyways, i looked at the apple site and the cheapest all silver MBP is $1915, surely i can find one for ~$1500 seeing as its the older model that the frickin apple store doesnt even carry anymore
