MacBook Pro w/ Retina Query: Does MacBook Air use proprietary type of SSD?

Hi all,

I own a mid-2011 17" MacBook Pro, so am not really familiar with the components from the MacBook Air.. Some searches didn't yield me concise answers either.

I'm assuming due to the form factor of the new MacBook Pro w/ Retina, that it will share or use a similar type of SSD drive to the MacBook Air. I was wondering if anybody could shed some light on the size of these drives and whether they were commonly (and easily) swapped with a SSD from another make?

I recently purchased an OCZ Vertex 4 256GB model, so am assessing whether it's time to sell my goods.

AFAIK, the SSDs used are basically like a stick of RAM, so definitely not the 2.5" notebook drives most people are used to. That being said, you can buy upgrades for most models, but just ensure that you check for compatibility first. These guys have a pretty good reputation:

Mind you, I haven't bought SSDs from the above shop but I did buy a RAM upgrade once - no issues.
