i haven't heard anyone else here say there MP is doing anything of use about it either.
Really? A lot of people posted their interactions with MPs in this thread. May be you should send your MP this link, and suggest to read this entire thread including Summary before politely asking him to resign just like CPC CEO did not so long ago? Winking Face

that was the first thing i did i dont think he gave a crap though... and people have had interactions with there MP but what good has any of it done and i've yet to hear anyone say that anyone in the gov is doing anything at all to make it better. the delays are no better and we still cant track our packages...

also just because the c.e.o of canada post is gone dont mean anything will change. i spoke with the v.p office about the delays and there refusal to provide tracking for registered mail. they made it very clear they have no plain to restore tracking or fix any of the issues with delays.

imo unless the whole upper management is fired and new people take over who care about customer service i dont see anything happening.

I wouldn't expect any better. Will see what their VP list looks like once a new CEO is assigned in March 2018, and what these people will tell you then about CPC plans. Smiling Face With Open Mouth And Smiling Eyes if nothing is changed, it'll be a different story then, and will see what we can do including Class Action and law changes, as some posted earlier, but I can't predict the future. I was just talking to a friend after i placed a few orders for records at a on line shop based out of the U.K. I mentioned to him i hope i get them before Christmas !! Which is sad in it self considering the delivery standard for the service i use is 5- 7 business days. So the items that i'm ordering are arriving in Canada in a week and cleared by customs. Helded hostage for weeks by Canada post until they deliver it which has been the last 4 orders 40 - 45 days on average.

Similar here, already 3rd month waiting for RG packages. There was some light of the day a few months back for a short period, then CPC reverted to same old tactics of low cost shipments withholding for arbitrary time period. And now with 11.11 and all local holidays coming, I'm loosing hope they'll deliver my RG packages till Feb-March of next year.

Guys you are wasting your time. CBSA guys are one of the most rude & arrogant peeps you will meet.

Unfortunately they can't be touched, way too much power given to these glorified CRA tax collectors. Plus they have a strong union.

Blame the CBSA morons, not Canada Post for this nonsense.

That hasn't been my experience (at the border anyway). The odd time you'll have someone in a bad mood, but most of the time, as long as you're nice to them, they'll be nice to you.

Canada Post tops all other government agency and they deleted 865 posts between Jan. 1, 2016 and Sept. 18, 2017. I am guessing a lot of it are our complains about their package delay.

It looks they're blocking own accounts, including accs of their employees, and as a result all other comments from unrelated users on these pages get hidden or erased, including customer complains on CPC promo pages.

I agree. Btw, is that your cow? How did she cross the border without paying duty? I guess she was nice, probably gave some milk to the border guys. Unless its a bull... Astonished Face

Streetsville, Missis…
I received my $12 headphones on Nov. 7. Ordered them all the way back in August. Never ever go with Malaysia Post. :( I'm just glad I got my stuff in the end. Decided against asking GB for a refund because they were so good to me about refunding the $24 headphones that took months to get to me.

Now I'm waiting on a small $7 adapter from AliExpress. Funnily enough, that $1.50 shipping I paid netted me excellent tracking, somehow--I got an official email from Canada Post, of all companies, with updated tracking info, and now my parcel is in B.C. I ordered on Oct. 27. This is all for a $7 headphone adapter!! Where was all this when I was tracking my phone? But I guess not directly to Canada Post like this helps avoid customs fees (I think).

It's true and for some reason most parcels that coming from China via Malaysia or Singapore Posts got unusual delays. It's better if possible to avoid "MY" and "SG".

As for your AliExpress parcel, it looks like it was sent by UBI Smart Parcel (does it have 16 digit tracking number?).
Some sellers on AliExpress use UBI to send their items, I guess AliExpress most likely subsidize this type of shipment.

A WORD ON MY 11TH NOV 2016/2017 SHIPMENTS (AND BEYOND):
All my ca. 70 aliexpress/geearbest shipments since 8. Nov. 2016 have arrived...one from 15th Aug 2017 is still outstanding (carrier: Winit). Attached are all shipments with China Post, Singapore Post, and epackets. There was a congestion over the Christmas period where items arrived in Canada after 5 days, then it took another 150 days for delivery (example: sent 11th Nov, scanned 27th Dec in Richmond, a month later in Mississauga, and finally arrived in April). The situation was more relaxed in the spring and summer.

Aliexpress standard shipping for 11th Nov 2016 was Singapore Post registered, this year the items sent so far are epackets, due to arrive at the end of November (like last year).
