Man shot in the chest

A 21-year-old man is in hospital in critical condition after being shot in the chest.


The shooting happened in the hallway of an apartment building at McCowan Road and Eglinton Avenue just after 1 a.m. on Friday morning.


The victim was found on the second floor. Investigators are still trying to determine what prompted the attack.


No arrests have been made, and there is no description of the suspects.
