Man's Equivalent to woman's loud shoes?
What are some shoes or boots for man that are the equivalent to those loud high heels that woman wear sound wise? Want something that makes a distinctive click when i walk in them.

I think generally any heavier dress shoes with a defined heel clicks. Check out Aldo or Town Shoes or something?
In my experience (girl shoes), it usually sounds that way when the rubber is brand new but once it's worn down to the wood/nail on the peg, it sounds stupid and should be resoled. That's not something you need to worry about until later anyway.
I would, however, advise you to grab some exterior grippies for dress shoes as it can get kind of slippery in winter sometimes and you don't want to slip and die.Last edited by sedated_xtc; Feb 7th, 2012 at 10:02 PM.

U like the clicking noise? Get some decent shoes that have a leather soul. My Paul smith and John Varvatose brougues have a leather show and they make that clicking noise. Annnoying as hell, but haven't got around to getting topys for shoes. Plus they have no grip so I tend to slip a lot. Example of leather soul:

The clicking sound diminishes if you just sand it down a little bit to reduce the smoothness of the heel and sole. Just enough to make it rougher and to soften the edges, not to actually reduce the leather to scraps or anything.
Also, I think I might have mentioned this somewhere else, but if your dress shoes are slipping, Aldo has these great anit-slips that are kind of like a sticker you put on the bottom of your shoe. I think they're like 5 bucks or so for a pair, but imo, they make a HUGE difference.

Ahh would rather get a cobbler to install topys on my shoe. I don't know how well the adhesive will stick after sometime.
