Manulife business banking
Has anyone here had experience with Manulife business banking?
I'm currently with Vancity, but having 10-20k sitting around making $1 in interest each month is getting me angry.
I'm surprised RFD isn't ranting and raving about the great interest rates there!
The fees are simple enough and I would be saving quite a bit by switching: http://www.manulife.ca/canada/mBank....king_should_be

I do my personal banking with them and find it to be a pleasure. Give it a shot.

I love Manulife bank.. currently I have all of my money in ING but after this month it is all going back to Manulife.. and the best part is they raise their rate to 4%..
you can use your Manulife bank account to pay bills as well. No need to transfer it to your main bank account for that. Only problem for me is that you can't pay your payroll remit.

Are you using them for your business accounts? I just spoke with a rep and they said only corporations could get a business account there. Not sole proprietors.

The advisor I spoke to may of had incorrect info.
I called again and they said a sole proprieter can in fact apply. Only the business registration form is needed. I'm still waiting to hear back from someone again. It's been over a week!
FOLLOW UP: It has taken a while to get back to them. The rep nearest me confirmed that I can sign up as a sole proprieter. We have an appointment tomorrow morning.
