I could probably list 200 dystopian books that are better deserving off the top of my head.

I read the novel decades ago. Saw the movie when it came out. Not sure how this could be a tv series though.

Hulu released another teaser trailer for its upcoming series “The Handmaid’s Tale,” which premieres April 26. The newest footage for the adaptation of Margaret Atwood’s novel gives viewers a closer look into Offred’s backstory, as the trailer offers a glimpse of her life before falling victim to the state. Her daughter was taken from her grasp by a masked man, presumably a cog in the totalitarian regime into which she is forced.

Toronto takes the spotlight in new dystopian TV series

Toronto becomes the dystopian Gilead in the newly released trailer. It clocks in at nearly two minutes long and features a slew of scenes from the Hulu original series, which is slated to premiere on April 26.

Plenty of Toronto landmarks make cameos, including City Hall, Lower Bay Station, the CBC headquarters and surprisingly, Ripley's Aquarium.

Toronto celebrates after The Handmaid's Tale wins big at Emmys
http://www.blogto.com/film/2017/09/toro ... ins-emmys/
The Handmaid's Tale straight up crushed it at the 69th Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday night, bringing home a total of eight awards for its writing, directing, acting, and general outstanding-ness.

Shot largely in and around Toronto, the chilling dystopian drama was one of summer 2017's most talked-about and widely-watched television debuts – if not the most critically-acclaimed TV show to air all year.

Multiple Golden Globe/Emmy winning show, highly rated by critics and audiences alike, filmed in Ontario - yet no discussion on here at all?
Too dark/depressing? No Hulu subscribers?

Finally caught up and I have to say this season is far more intense, heart-wrenching and involving than the first season (and that was a tough one to top).
Plus it's always fun to catch all the locations around Toronto they film in.

What do other fans think?
