Nice to have fun like this again. Haven't been as exuberant about a market/play since technology and biotechnology in the late 90's and early 00's.

Unless it is less than in previous quarters by a lot, the results will probably have little negative effect. This so much reminds me of the tech days....

I was a RIM, ComDev and Open Text guy in '99/00

IMO, this stuff is MUCH crazier than that ever was

yeah, I agree with you, volatility is exciting...don't need to go to Vegas
but compare to the tech bubble, the market cap is much smaller.... JDSU was $300+, weed is $21+
let's see if we learned anything from the tech bubble
either way, I have the aloe vera ready........

No way. Those days were crazy. This is exciting. But really, it is far earlier and there is a tangible product.

I was working for a startup biotech/genetics company. During the biotech bubble we watched our shares go from 25 to 75 in a day simple because getting coverage by Goldman Sachs...and nutcase investors. Over the next month we were close to 120 dollars a share and we were all worth millions...except many of us didn't didn't have our options vested. A few years later we were sold for less than 2 dollars a share.

Everything got people excited. I remember making nice gains of stocks like ATI (was it going to be them or nVidia in the first Microsoft console). Or Linux ramping up Corel to ridiculous heights after they had failed as a software company.

Dumped all my shares today at a profit. Will not be buying back in barring a massive dive (always possible).
