Not the best day to come in at market price on opening, but hindsight is always 20/20 welcome to the market :)

Sorry if this has been asked numerous times and pardon my stupidity, but is trading marij stocks legal, even though it hasn't been legalized in Canada? I just recently had a conversation with some people re: and it seems like there is a lot of money to be had in it. Can these companies get shut down and then you lose your money?

Again, sorry if this is a stupid question.

Thank you. About break-even today thanks to ACB order going through mid-morning.

Some research analyst was on BNN this morning, their price target for Y/E 2017 is still 16.50 for WEED :| , that's not good news ...

Yes trading these stocks are legal. Most of these companies have a medical aspect and once legalization occurs in Canada will have the infrastructure/capacity to provide for the casual market as well. There's a lot of money to be made, but also a lot of money to be lost as well.

Just took some profits on ACB from purchasing earlier today at 5.81!

Thanks, that makes sense. Just like anything on the stock market, there's risk to lose a lot. I don't plan on jumping in without doing my research but it's good to know regardless!

Would like to choose a few stocks to invest longer term in. Is there any suggestions on where to find info to get started investing in this rather new industry?
