Been a rough day... bought some and it's still going further down.

So far, bought the following:
ACB @ 10.65
WEED @ 33.10
APH @ 18.15

Thinking of buying the following, and would appreciate any tips/advice/recos:
OGI, MJN, BLO, HVST

Also what's the story with FIRE.V?

Noob question... whats the deal with this level 2 info? How do you obtain it, and what exactly does it tell us?

market depth..
I use scotia itrade, they provide level 2 quotes.
Shows the bids and asks, shows the current gap and the size of orders on either side.

If you are a TD user, you can get it as well. Free if you do 30 + trades a quarter.

When you use TD, you see this alert message saying there may be price volatility because there is less shares available then you are asking for when you put in a market order. With level 2 quotes, you can see what is happening, and how much more you are paying to complete your purchase order.

Interesting, thanks. I use CIBC IE, I'll have to see if they provide that information too.

I'm really considering HMMJ today but I know these are highly speculative, but anyone have any info why the drops have been bad the past two days? Do you think itll recover?

I don't believe there was any real reason for the drops. Potentially profit taking and a case of too high too fast (pun intended). This seems to be the nature of the beast with these stocks. They sometimes go up for no reason (hype and greed) and sometimes drop for no reason (fear).

Better to average down, or pick up a new stock?

no one has the answer to that my friend... if you don't have a solid reason for buying the stock at its current price, don't buy it. There is no easy way to get rich, or else there would be more millionaires.

invest in sound, long term stocks. Try to get rich quickly, you will get burnt.

just my 2 cents.

F**** you got me...
Haha, you win some you lose some. I got hit on ATT for .72 on Tuesday, trading as low as .52 today.

Only a .20 drop, but on 20k shares, you do feel the sting. Next week it'll be all better again!!
