Marks' Work Warehouse $10 off $10 on anything (well almost) is back!

I picked up a rugby shirt for $20 that was originally for $99 it was on the clearance rack for $39.99 and i used the $10 card..

quickly looked most of the stuff was overpriced..
but I like their quality.. clothes are comfortable and last a long time.

will prob. goto the 20% off everything sale coming up soon..

I have always had good customer service at Marks's stores.
I will not set foot in the store without a coupon. I like how you can use the $50 off $10 coupon on anything, even sale items.
I have found some good deals on clearance items in the past.

I might have bought something if I had one of those!

Nothing was in the past flyers I received.
Please post the date on the flyer.

If you read back a few pages, I posted about not receiving mine in the North Shore news... I ended up calling circulation and they delivered me another paper with the flyer. End Sunday though.

Ya, got mine here in the GVR about Nov 12, and it expired I think around the 22nd. Used it to buy a headlamp... $13-10=$3+tax. Okay deal.

Is there a reason why they ask you for your postal code during the process of purchase?

I asked that once and the CSR replied, 'it's so we get an idea of where our customers are coming from'. Umm, okay, sure...

That is actually part of the reason. Most Mark's should have a sign stuck to the counter by the till that states why they ask for your postal code. Most of it is for demographics - They do actually want to know where customers are coming from. If there are a lot of customers coming from an area that doesn't have a Mark's, or currently doesn't have flyers circulated in that area, they want to know so they can move in on that area.

Every single transaction, the cashier is prompted before they move onto the payment screen to ask for a postal code. They can get in a lot of crap if they just put nothing - the stores have reports that track the percentage of customers who refuse to give their postal code. It used to be trackable by employee - not sure if this is the case anymore - but they can get in trouble for not asking.

While this may be true, customers do not have to give their postal codes if they do not want to. I have no issue with it, so I usually do.
