A stick is on preorder and there's info as to even achievements. Wow fighters are coming back big time.

No need to hunt down those ultra exclusive and expensive xbox and PS2 versions.

Those Hraps, TE, Se and DIY sticks are back and will be staying for a while.

woot! I might consider selling my SF4 TE and get the MVC2 version instead.

those overpriced TE aren't going to last long.

the game was also mentioned by the ESRB as well awhile ago so I'm thinking it is coming. Fighting games aren't completely resurging as even SFIV sales are overly impressive considering but this one could outsell that. Its a hugely popular game that Capcom should at least make it like SF2HD where its redrawn and actually in HD.

I was going to buy a stick for SFIV, but it took so long for them to appear, that I've basically forgotten about it and don't really care anymore.

It's just a port I think. Should be out by July 17th as that's when Evo is and they slipped up and said they'd be playing it on PS3 a while ago before quickly changing it.

A straight port is disappointing. Are they at least taking out all of the glitches and infinites that riddled the dreamcast one?

I guess character re-balancing is a far off dream just like MVC3.

It took them almost 2 years for redraw ssf2 hd remix. It would take probably 4-5 years to redraw mvc2. Doubt it unless they've had a secret team at udon redrawing it all for the past 3-4 years.

if it's exactly the look of the te with a mvc2 cover...i'll definitely sell the sf4 te and get mvc2 stick...too bad there isn't any pics...

i can't wait to get it...i used to play it so much back then on my dc...

Redrawing 56 characters is going to take a lot longer than the 17 from Street Fighter 2.

I hope then have everything unlocked fro the start because I remember it taking awhile to unlock everything. And hopefully good sales might push Capcom to make MvC3.

someone told me marvel vs capcom 3 will never happen since marvel owns the rights now ..they have a similar but newer version of this game out in japan for the wii? tanaka vs ?

It's possible, since SSF2 was probably done by a much smaller team than whatever they might have cooking up for the next HD remake fighter, and given the success of what happened last time, it's in their best interests to balloon the team and work on the next one.

The sudden resurgence of fighters is a good sign. One can never have enough HD fighting games!

After this last fiasco with the SFIV TEs, why in the world is Capcom going with Mad Catz again?
