67 characters.... The scale of this story looks so big that I am waiting for them to announce it will be a trilogy instead.

Everybody Calm Down, Avengers 3 Won’t Actually Have 67 Characters
Still too many characters

I hope the buildup makes sense. While the MCU has shown battles & disasters on a planetary scale, we've not been introduced to anything on the level of what Thanos & the Infinity Gauntlet storyline present in the comics. Like we get hints of super large scale stuff especially with the Thor & Dr Strange storylines, but it's always been hints. Thanos pulling a moon to fight would be next level :D

Russo has proven to me that they can handle multiple characters in a movie, so I'm not worried. I can't wait until they release the first teaser!

The only time they got it right was with The Celestials destroying a planet. They have never been able to match the way Jack Kirby would show something like Galactus absorbing the energy from a planet as he had in many a splash page or destroying a space armada by just waving his hand. That's the scale we need for this next Avenger installment...

Honestly, just avoid the leaked cam versions and wait for the official release. The quality is so poor and the crowd is cheering for every freaking character appearance so you can't hear any of the dialogue. Save yourself the trouble.

It is a bit odd seeing Thanos without his helm (I know he's appeared like that multiple times in the comics, but it's the first time we see this among his few appearances in MCU).
