I'm sure its the same owners and different names again.
They always had a AYCE Sushi/Chinese place on the ground floor of the hotel there.
I've been to it and i can't complain.
I forgot what the last name was but for that price you should'nt complain.

Masa Sushi
I'm going there this week, anyone have any reviews of this restuarant? Apparently, it's the grand opening special, I believe. Looks pretty good for an ACYE *** restuarant. Anyone been there?
That is the website:

it used to be called shintori....
yeah, grandopening there has lasted quite some time now.
speaking of 'now', the NOW! toronto paper did a thing on it and to add insult to injury to their skewed reviews, they fed california rolls and basically 'non-fish' sushi products to a picky teenager who was in their lunch sitting.
the gist of the review for this 'sushi' resturaunt was that the teenager gave them a thumbs up to about a 2/3rds of anything that didn;'t have fish involved in it. yeah, since when did sushi involve not eating fish?
pathetic.
the owners there now are the same people that own "Katsu" on danforth.
if you have been to katsu, you will know that pathetic is no understatement.

I was probably 1 of the first customers there, and I must say that the food was average, and the price was quite high. The AYCE menu is not impressive either, very few items, for lunch it's even less. Dunno if it's any better now, but I truly doubt it.
