Don't they have an ongoing $39 special for your first massage anyhow? That's better than $20 off.

The problem I have with the chain places like this is that they cream off a big amount of the fee, so the actual massage therapist does not earn much. If you go to a self-employed therapist they can make a better income. Still have to pay for office rent etc. of course...

There's always "that guy" who takes any thread about this provincially licensed health care modality and throws it directly into the gutter. If you had a single clue about how much work and how many years it takes to get registered in Ontario, you might change your tune.

On the other hand, kudo's to Inno for the sound advice. Take your business to an independent RMT. You will most likely get a better treatment, and the RMT will get a better percentage. Avoid discount health care when at all possible. As always YGWYPF.
