Mattress shopping..

Will be going to sleepcountry and haggling for next mattress purchase. Any good deals to be had recently? I'm focused on mattresses listed for under $1200, I can probably bring it down to $700.. How much would it be without the box? Focusing on the Kingsdowns but open for suggestions! Thanks

I'm looking for a bed as well. I've never tried a foam mattress, how does it compare to a traditional spring mattress?

Bed in a box vs Casper?

Mattresses are huge profit. Wood, springs and foam and not much else. Often you can find very similar mattresses at different places. They are made the same but have retailer specifical models. Getting 30-40% off should be easy, even more for "demo" models that sit in the showroom for people to lay on and try out. I've had good luck with Sleep Country as well as some of the no name little guys, it all depends what you're after.

do you use a mattress topper to protect it from getting dirty?
looks like casper on amazon is about $1200, is it same price from casper directly?

Yes I have a mattress topper. You can check Caspers prices for yourself: https://casper.com/ca/en/mattresses
