i was accepted to ivey and rotman. honestly, i didn't put down very much for extra curriculars because i didn't have much to begin with
gmat and work experience carries more weight on the application.

It really depends on your background. For some people it will be irrelevant, for others it will be important. A simple example is if you take a non-for-profit background person you would probably expect to see lots of extra curriculars since that fits with the personality and industry. Someone who spent the last few years in investment banking working 80 hours a week, you wouldn't really expect many at all.

interesting. i thought extra curriculars was a big part of the application in addition to the gmat, work experience, and undergrad GPA
so what is your gmat score and work experience if you dont mind sharing? how many years of work?
