i 2nd that. Most of the cc companies are contracting. My only hope is amex (amex 3% platinum perhaps? ) but i really doubt it.

i called in again, and the rep says NORMALLY (notice its bolded) it takes 5 business days to convert a card. Mine should get converted on Friday, but since it's a holiday mine won't be done till the Tuesday (monday is a holiday as well)...and when i say how come the ppl who i told to converted have already got theirs done...the rep just say she doesn't know. However she says that I will get the card on Thursday for sure unless "stuff" happens *crosses fingers*

Sounds like i will have to call in Tuesday then...

wow that rep sound VERY confident...is MBNA using like Xpresspost for ur card? since ppl that converted will get their cards mailed on Tuesday(Apr 14th) from Ottawa...and it takes like 4 biz days to reach Toronto

I will update my op right away once i get my card..so no worries. (unless someone gets theirs before me) They will also "hear" from me again if i dont get it by then.

Within what time from card initiation this offer of BT is effective.

I do not like to get it too early, as I will need the money close to September month.

my account got updated to smart cash too, and the last 4 digits changed from what i had on my platinum plus card, even though i converted and did not open another account. so card number definitely changes.

btw is this 1.99 bt promotion for all smart cash cards? i converted while my 0% bt promo wasn't expired yet and they told me its going to continue on this new card, but that expires next month...

going to call them and ask.
