So i have the premier rewards card and upgraded to the smart cash card today. The representative told me that the rewards i accumulated on my old card cannot be carried forward, and i will lose that credit (ie. lose the 1% on the balance i have accumulated thus far). Has this happened to anyone else??

Yeah very useless. I spoke to head office today and they say they can not help. They said to deal with it trough my CC. Also recieved a letter today from MBNA that was mailed out last week, It has a copy of the signed transaction slip. Hell it is Signed M. Audet. My name is Patrick for god sake. You would figure that MBNA would notice the signature was nothing like mine let alone a different name all together. Waiting now on new card and to be refunded again which should be about 10days from what i am told. One thing though talking to someone smart at MBNA is quite a task. They all seem kind of lost.

Well clearly the local Super C employees are useless. Have you tried calling Métro's head office?

At this point they should not only rectify the situation but also compensate you.

MBNA only receives the ticket copy when they request it from the merchant (when doing a dispute). The disputes process is there for completely unauthorized transactions (ie: no ticket copy). In this case, the purcahse was authorized by M Audet, so MBNA has no right to dispute the transaction. However in this case, it is considered fraud, but MBNA doesnt just forward the case, you have to be the one to claim the fraud. It's an annoying process, yes. But I am sure you'll find the charge is credited quickly and any finance chagres are adjusted for you as well.

That's possibly a late fee or interest charge. I'd call MBNA. I've never had a "finance charge", but I never carry a balance either and always pay my bills on time.



Why would you be able to? Online charges are current and not from past statements. And it's not as though you're going to find a transaction for a late fee.

No, but I can see the statements, and there's no finance charge listed on the statements. And the statements list all the payments in full, well before the due dates.

Ugh. Never mind. Apparently I paid April's balance twice instead of May's.

I received an offer in the mail today for this credit card. It also has a promo of 1.99% for balance transfers for the first 10 billing cycles.

I have been putting all my purchases on the AMEX card to get SPG points for free hotel stays but will give this one some thought.

It really depends... i applied earlier april and only last friday did i receive the welcoming letter that saids my card is on its way and will be here soon..
so don't worry too much about it. if you're approved then it will come in due time

you can call them if you're worried, because my first card was lost in the mail. They can tell you whether they have sent the card out.

Is anyone finding that they are not getting their bonus points for Gas and Grocery???

For the past week, I've had some Grocery and Gas purchases show up as regular 1% points in the Rewards Tab of the Online Access.

Check the last transaction where you did get Bonus points....do you see a "Monthly CAP Exceded" message.

It sounds like you've already put in the $600 limit for the month...
