I had the exactly same problem as yours. I tried for many times to reapply. Finally, they even didn't allow me to go into the security questions screen any more. I called the credit bureau next day and there was nothing wrong. I almost gave up for this credit card until last week. About 10 days afer my application failure, I gave a try again. This time I went through and completed my application. Three business days after my application, I received an email from GCR to inform me a $60 deposit into my GCR account. Now I am waiting to receive my card.

So you may wait for a week and apply it again. Good luck.

no they are not. on the world mc, the word "world" appears on the card.

Just converted my regular SmartCash to the World version. I will have to update all the pre-authorized transactions as I understand I will get a new card with new set of numbers.

I was just looking at a few of my old receipts and noticed the last 4 digits aren't the same as my credit card.
I called customer service and they said it's nothing to worry about, it may be a transaction number the store tacks on.

Should I be concerned. I've never seen this on any of my other credit cards before.

If you've since upgraded to World, or you had initially used PayPass for this transaction, it's normal.

This is normal. Confused the heck out of the staff when I tried to return an item and the credit card number on the receipt didn't match the card. But when you actually go through the transaction and you swipe/scan the card, then the number will match up. Might be a privacy protection "feature".

mbna reps are making up answers again. Transaction done via paypass will show the last 4 digits different than whats on the card. This is normal for mbna.

I received a cheque dated Jan 9, 2012. I assumed this is for the December one due to that backlog they had.
Today I got a cheque dated Feb 3, 2012. So which is this for? The Jan redemption or the Feb redemption? I think my previous cheques were always dated close to the redemption day, so if that holds true, I am missing my January cheque possibly?

I believe the two cheques you received are December and January as I doubt they would create a letter and cheque a day after redemption. Februarys will come later
