Called today to check the status
And got the approval
It will take 3-4 weeks delivery for the card

So that means
My credit is in the very good category

Congrats!
Now transfer some of that credit score over here.

I'm using smart cash platinum right now, so what's the improvement the world version gives? I can see the 6 month for 5% promotion, but whatelse?
I checked my account, under reward, it shows this card, does that mean I can upgrade? And if so, will my credit score got hit(not that I care too much, just wondering)

What's different to upgrade or apply a new card?

So I have a chequing account with TD, how do I go about paying off my smartcash mastercard? Because when i go on the website it only lists pay by mail, pre-auth. debit, and western union as payment options. Do I have to wait for the monthly bill to come and take that to TD or can I pay it earlier somehow?

Log into your TD online banking, go to bill payments / Add Payee. Enter "MBNA CANADA MASTERCARD" for name, then put in your sixteen digit credit card number for the payee. If you don't have online banking set up, you should still be able to get someone in the branch to add them as a payee the same way even before the first statement arrives in the mail.

Thanks a lot, yes I have easyweb set up I just never used online banking since i had td visa before and just used to do a simple transfer from chequing to credit card.

Good point. Until that happens though GCRebates.ca rocks!

I found ebates also has a bit wider selection and sometimes larger %. YMMV with BestBuy though...haven't seen anything back yet :S

You get it after your application gets approved. It will appear in your GCR account and then you will have to request the cheque from GCR through your account options there.

I applied for an American express 2 weeks ago and i am guessing it got approved. My annual package is $25,000. I applied for MBNA smartcasch back card now. Do you think it will get approved?
