MBNA Smart Cash Reward Question

Is there a way to check how much cash reward I earned and whether I'm getting the right promotion? I just signed up for the card and received it not too long ago and I want to verify that I'm getting the 5% cash back on groceries and gasoline. Of course I can always wait for my first statement, but that means I'm like 1 month into the 6 month promotion already.

Already checked, but nothing related to rewards are there. I only see pending points. No cash back.

How do I know if I'm getting the 5% and not 2% then?

You guys are nice in providing comments to a very basic concept of reward points. Then maybe you can be so kind to provide answers to my.

Is Walmart changing all stores to a super center codes. There some stores that are not considered grocery store and therefore do not provide 5% or 2% reward. Anyone heard of this change?

And has anyone closed the account with a negative reward points? What happens. I know that if there is a positive balance, points are forfeited.

It's always been like that. Wal-Mart under the SUPERSTORE banner will have the extra bonus, while the ones that don't yield the 1%
