I spent over $40 at a Westin restaurant early September, but I haven't got the first stay points yet. I'm not surprised though, because it apparently can take a few months.

For the first stay bonus just charge it to your card, but the bill needs to be from the hotel not the restaurant (like the keg in the westin)

Carvers in the Sheraton Caviler in the NE is pretty good. But might be seperate from the hotel.

The other restaurant in the westin is way over priced.

there isnt one for mbna. I am going to see if i can switch it to another 0/15...if i cant i m just going to cancel it.

When I was in HK in October of 2008 I spent over $40 on food.

In March of 2009 the points showed up.

My card expires in December and I still received my replacement cards this month. Glad that happened because I still have a lot of spending to do before they cancel this card Hope the new one is as good!

Yup. Last rumour I heard before this Amex business was that this was going to be TD's first Mastercard offering. We'll have to wait until March to see what the truth is.

I think there will be an annual fee for the card, no matter who's the issuer - TD or AMEX. I'm very interested to know what kind of sign up bonus they would be offering. 15000 SPG bonus point would be nice.
