the ad is a fail for Calgary McD. it is NOT any special coffee, only small latte and cappuccino. Mocha is not included as it cost them too much money to sell it at $1.00. so buyers beware.

Where did you go? I got the Peppermint Mocha just fine at the McDonald's I went to.

I'd complain to that manager, it is definitely any small drink with espresso, including latte, cappuccino, espresso, americano and mocha. Just not the deluxe hot chocolate (doesn't have espresso in it)

Found that out too the hard way which I find rather stupid. They do upgrades when they have free coffee events, and just make you pay for the difference, so why not now?

Ok glad to see Im not the only one feeling like this. Tried the mocha for the first time, and really felt like there was this strong plastic taste.

Depends on the location. When they started out they were trying to complete with starbucks, now they realized they just need to compete with tims which is not that great either.

They tried to charge me $1.40, when with tax it was supposed to be $1.15.

I ordered two small mocha today in the drive thru as part of a bigger order. When I got home I read the Receipt it says 2 small Mocha $5.16 and near the bottom $1 off and under that $1 off. So I paid $3.16 for two coffees. I called the Abbotsford store and the manager said sorry bring your receipt in for a refund. Well im not making a special trip back for a buck sixteen. Anyways they apologised and said they would train their staff better. I'm starting to think they do it on purpose. On the last promo of free coffee I was charged for the coffee but noticed before I left the parking lot and had to go back for a refund.

I found their "specialty" coffee disgusting, not as bad as Timmy Nestle Latte though. I rather $1 off regular coffee, their regular brew is not bad.

Better save the money for a Tassimo or Dolce Gusto, they make much better espresso beverage at less.
