I wonder if android mock locations can help alleviate the problem of having to be in Ottawa to get these deals. I suppose it would be a tough sell to order on the app based on being in the Ottawa area and then selecting a pickup location far from the region.
easiler solution log in three times with different accounts to get raptors fries lol they the same deal it;s fries ;)

My guess is that offers are validated based on the site location. I recall a Quebec-only digital offer was accidentally added to phones outside of the province, and everyone just got an error when trying to use it. Although, given their competence level, anything is possible.

They show up if you spoof the location but it doesn't allow you to add the offer to an order to a store outside Ottawa.

That is what I thought would be the behavior. It would sure look strange to make an order in Ottawa and ask for the pick up to be 1000 km away. Of all the broken things with the app, they get this part right. Unfortunate.

Yeah, I know. The typical McDonald's app user has 10 accounts on average. It would be nice not to have to camp at the machine changing accounts.

You don't need to camp - order 1 and move on. At least you are doing something to cheat the system - paying with time and effort. Imagine if the guy in front of you orders 100 free fries because its convenient - what's your wait time then? I admit I go to McDonalds once a weekday (usually for breakfast/ sometimes lunch) and these promos just kill the line. It would be nice to have a separate line for promos and one for people who order and pay. Enjoy the fries while it lasts.
