I went to MDs a while back and they did have an item (mcdouble dressed like a mac) for $2.59. However, you can also just customize it individually without paying as much. I added lettuce and mac sauce and that costed 40 cents extra only.

I bought a mcdouble yesterday and it was $1.39, plus 20 cents extra to make it like a mac. This was at the Yonge/Sheppard location (Toronto).

if you add lettuce, pickle, tomato to your burger its usually free (except franchised locations i think). they only charge you for the mac sauce.

Yeah had that same nonsense happen to me when I was in a Mississauga McDonald's. They had a name for the sandwich. Couldn't understand what the girl was saying though. Pretty big ripoff. Not impressed.

I went to one location by Weston Rd & 401 and they told me they couldn't do it. They said because it is a small sandwich they can't put it on but can give it to me on the side
