I walked in to a local MDG the other day..they looked like a car showroom, sales reps acted like car salesmen too. I went in looking for a raid card. salesman # 1 had no idea what it was. salesman # 2 said they dont carry them, nor can they order them. Looks like they want you to go in saying "hi, I have $1000, I dont know anything and I want a computer" and walk out an hour later with a computer and an empty wallet.

They used to run ads for desktop computers with Radeon X300 graphics, and then advertise a free 'upgrade' to Intel integrated graphics. I wouldn't have been upset if the ad only ran a few times, but they kept running these ads and it was obvious this was not a mistake, but an intentional scheme to try and screw people.

hey, if you think about it... it works!
and if someone that doesn't know ANYTHING about computers... that's what they would buy !
what MDG is doing, is simply supplying the "I'm not a nerd" market ~!
its kinda like ..... actually there is no other... LOL
MDG is MDG !_______________

Had a few MDG computers in one of the research labs I supported (labs have their own budgets and choose to buy their own equipment, so they seemed to go for cheapest possible..). Have never seen worse machines in my life.
Constant crashes, strange quirks... It's what happens when you put a whole bunch of refurbished cheapest possible parts into a computer.
Not to even mention their shady advertising and sales practices..
In short, they build cheap crappy computers which they sell to people who know nothing about computers. Then most of the people who have problems due to the crappy hardware, blame it on Windows or just deal with it.
