I've been asking family for Gift Cards from them for last couple X-mas / B-days and it is the most useful present I can personally ask for. I've equipped myself with so much awesome gear thanks to this. Truly win-win. Easy to buy for and I get to stock up on top of the line stuff.

This is better of course, but there has been free shipping on orders over $50 for awhile now. I go to clearance section and get all my cycling clothes and gear at super prices, wife finds running clothes, and kids get warm stuff for cycling year round.

Thanks for the reminder.
I have remote that uses Duracell DL2025. MEC has Energizer CR2025 from which I can tell is same thing and will work.

Last time I bought battery for remote it was at staples full price at $5.19. Can get at MEC for $1.25 :O

But it says:
Shipped by surface transport only.
Does that mean it will take longer to deliver? From BC to Atlantic Canada?

If anyone wants expensive twist ties, I recommend Nite Ize Gear Tie Reusable Rubber Twist‑Tie $3-5.75
I've used two to temporarily hold a tv antenna onto old satellite dish to see what reception was like for a week and it didn't budge.

That depends on the route they take... the pink route could take a week, but the purple route might take a couple months.

.... Ok, serious question though: Do you need to be a coop member to shop online?

Sometimes I wonder if they take the purple route. I find MEC verrry slow to ship. Something tells me their warehouse hipsters do not move too fast.
