I am only doing this to help my fellow RFD'ers get some good ol gear for the holidays in time for holiday gaming action since one of the websites is in complete Chinese language.
so let's save on shipping and order quantity price breaks and get these under the tree before santa arrives.
Donations are welcome but not required, although i would not turn any down. if you cannot donate anything it's all good... money is tight around the holidays anyways i'll be happy if you just hit the thanks button at the bottom left of this post. even heatware feedback would be nice.
all Mech Keyboard GROUP BUY items will be purchased from pchome and all O-RINGS GROUP BUY items will be purchased from allorings.

- Shipping and Pickups and Taxes -
Since we are doing to save on shipping since none of these are available in Canada. i do not know what the final price of shipping will be for all of us until i know how many have confirmed an order.
All shipping prices and any duties charged to me on delivery will be split amongst all participating buyers. I do know that for 5 bags of O-RINGS shipping is 21.17 via ups standard and for 5 keyboards it's 20.00 dollars EMS shipping.

all participating buyers will be posted in the SECOND post of this thread in purple and updated everyday at 6pm.
ALSO... some of you are already pm'ing me asking "is this is a local deal only...?" the answer is NO. anyone can order however ANY shipping from me to you after is at your cost. only the group buy shipping costs from pchome or allorings will be split amongst all buyers. i get a small price break with CanadaPost Venture One and UPS and these will also be the only couriers i will ship with. as always pickups are FREE! but only in my free time. i have a life too.
PayPal will be used for all order i have to ship to. EMT will be used for all pick ups.

These are soft Buna-N O-Rings used to sound dampen and soften keycap clacking when bottoming out. it also prolongs the life of your switch and lessens actuation distance by 2mm.

there are 250 o-rings per bag. TKL keyboards have 84/87/89 keys and fullsize keyboards have 104/108/112 keys. so there is more then enough for more then 2 full o-ring swap changes on your keyboard per bag.

Do the o-rings come with the keyboard key remover thingy? It would make It much easier then using your hands/tweezers I would think..
Where are you able to meet-up at infamous? Assuming that some of us come pick up the item. At your time of course!
I'm Interested In getting the o-rings only.. Do you guys know roughly how much would the group buy of the o-rings cost? Taxes/Duties included on top of the price. Like "the" final price.

Do these places were ordering from have replaceable key caps? Mine are fading already! I might want to get replacements.

hey guys,

cmstorm keyboards all come with keycap puller already. there is no need to buy one.
if you need keycaps there are like like a million places you can buy them.
typically you want PBT plastic keycaps as that type of plastic lasts the longest.
if you guys can wait i am going to be organizing a custom keycap group soon which can save us some real dough. keys would be as low as 2.00 per custom keycap and anywhere from 15.00 to 50.00 per set depending on keycap options.
more info to come soon but this is something we can get into after everyone gets keyboards first.
and yes the places i am ordering from i can order you replacement keycaps. just drop me a pm with your keyboard brand and i will help you source a set.

in terms of where i can meet. i am located at finch and yonge and i can meet at either bathurst and finch in evenings or at yonge and finch and finch and leslie during the day depending on the day.

I've got something cheaper - take a couple of paperclips and bend them into whatever shape you need to remove them. I like them shaped as hooks.

I'm looking for 26 blank ones for the alphabet characters on my Das.

The 37pc set at WASD is for 20 bucks, but if you can find cheaper elsewhere I might be interested.

no the ones i am looking to get are custom keycaps. as in keycaps with our own logos and designs on them.
these will be pbt plastic using cmyk colors.

also our own fonts. our own layouts. this is a true custom keycap selection compared to what is already out there and mass produced.
so for a gamer instead of having the plain wasd, esc, space, ctrl and alt keys they can be up down left right in red on white... esc can be like an abort or a big middle finger and control could be an icon of a dude crouching or a camp tent... you get the idea?? custom = custom.
