This degree at BCIT interests me greatly. It's kind of a weird degree, but I looked through the courses and they are really cool.
I am wondering if anyone has an education or works in this field, what are the career prospects for someone with a degree like this?
Apparently afterwards I can enrol in an engineering degree...
Thank you.

The problem is that you're competing with real engineers with a lot of experience so it's going to be slim pickings. I had a client hiring for a similiar position and he got flooded with a lot of good resumes with people with extremely good experience (think.. setting up the systems at TRIUMPH, or setting up assembly plants at an auto car company).
Of course, this is just one experience so take it with a grain of salt, but you'll have a very steep uphill slope to go up.

That's the problem with the world eh... even if you do find work that you might really enjoy, you still get shut out. So sad..
