Meet the Fockers (at FMP Cineplex)
I was surprised when three threads returned when I searched for this movie on RFD.
Anyway, I saw it tonight on opening night. The movie was pretty entertaining but oh my god, let me start complaining about the movie theatre.
I went to see it at Cineplex FMP (first markham) and boy was it expensive! It was $9 something when I was expecting to pay the everyday low price of $7 or whatever it is.
Then there was a line up outside the auditorium until about 9:40... the movie is scheduled to start at 9:50. The previous audience didn't file out until 9:35.
After getting in, one of the chairs we were gonna take was slashed up.
It got packed pretty quickly which is understandable. You'd think that the theatre anticipated this and would turn up the air circulation. It felt like there was absolutely no circulation in there... it got hot and stuffy pretty bad towards the end of the movie.

The movie was alright. It wasn't terrible but it couldn't be great. It's a comedy after all... there were a few scenes where I laughed out loud (no I didn't say "LOL") but it's no thriller or action flick. It actually makes me more nervous about getting married...
It's a movie worth seeing with your friends/partner this holiday though.
Too bad there's no JAMES BOND film.

Meet the parents was a riot! But I've heard a few bad reviews about Meet the Fockers that it was just rehashing the old bits from the first one. But no matter going to see this, just love De Niro's role in this movie.
