Memory express doesn't pricematch rebates?

I recently attempted pricmatching an item that ME had for $115 minus $15ail-in rebatr against the same product the NCIX has for $100 minus $30 rebate. So $100 vs $70.

They called back and said they will only pricematch the store price and provide their rebate. To $100 minus $15.

I'm better off buying directly from NCIX. Is this normal? Why have a pricematch policy where the pricematch is of worse value?

Yes this is normal.
Pm is always before Mail in rebate price. How do you expect them to match rebate? Just give you $30 off in top of peice match? They don't have same rebate as ncix. Nobody price matches mail in rebate. Rebate is not paid from retail store, manufacturers do.

Usuly rebates are same amount across all retailers but there are random odd ones like this where one retailer has bigger rebate.
