Wow. Rook.
getting 3x the cash would be pretty awesome. But getting 3x the store credit is still paying too much for girls clothing.
What you think is awesome is sadly a way of life for some. You don't think there are people out there who, say for example, discover a bottle of salsa in the fridge that they forgot about for five months. This salsa is now rancid, but, some people will return it and tell the store - "I bought this here and it is bad"
Shame, Shame!_______________

you are as delusional as him. He committed fraud by knowingly accepting a store credit that was not owed him.Loot items are clearly advertised as final sale and the buyer new that as he knew the price he paid for it. I am sure when asked for his receipt which he had in his back pocket he lied and said he didn't have. And your racist rururemon comment puts your entire argument in the FAIL category.

i guess you dont know part of the reason of the lululemon name... FAIL. so please get off your high horse
i wasnt trying to be racist... the name is partially from the creators knowledge that there is no difference between phonetic L and R characters in certain east asian languages, creating a distinct brand... that wouldnt be easily knocked off.
maybe do some research next time you call someone a racist over the internet, big man.Last edited by sergers; Mar 26th, 2010 at 11:45 AM.

Sorry, my mistake. Yours was not a racist comment, just ethnically tasteless.

Yep, the Queen location hemmed mine and apparently you can get free hemming for any of their products for life (like I hemmed mine to a length that'd work with shoes, but I could hem them shorter later to wear barefoot). I didn't know that - gonna see if I can get the sleeves shortened on one of my old track jackets from them.
These pants are great and the 4-way stretch really make a difference in my martial arts class for kicks and stuff. I have a much better range of movement in these than my usual track pants and even some shorts.

F*** ME
When looking at the size chart I was looking at the Women's
I ended up with a XL waist 38, while I should have gotten a medium in mens lol
Anyone want to exchange an XL for a Medium?

Geez you guys need to take a chill pill. How did he break the law? You guys really need to learn the difference between illegal and immoral.
He bought a pair of pants. Returned them to *the store he bought them from*. He didn't lie or cheat, they screwed up. That store decided to give him more than he paid for them. How is that theft?
Whether or not the cashier made a mistake is completely irrelevant. The cashier was the representative of the store at that time, and approved that transaction.
This isn't theft any more than DollarsForGold.com is theft.

the name lululemon athletica
Chip Wilson’s former business “Westbeach Sports” was a surf/skate/snowboard company. In the early 90’s, Westbeach sold about 5 million dollars a year of snowboard clothing to the Japanese market. North American name brands had intense appeal there and Japanese consumers paid a premium for authentic product.
Westbeach also developed a skateboard brand in the 90’s called “homless”. The company sold a few hundred thousands dollars worth of homless product specifically to the Japanese market before deciding to stop producing homless and concentrate solely on the Westbeach brand.
A big issue for Westbeach with the “homless” name was that it was impossible to trademark. The prefix “hom” means male in French and there were just too many “hom” like names to be different. Consequently the name was never registered and Westbeach stopped producing the homless brand. The Japanese however did not forget. Not producing homless for the Japanese customer created a cult like following.
After a couple of years of pleading with Westbeach to continue making the homless brand, the Japanese Westbeach distributor asked to buy the name. The name “homless” had no real value to Westbeach and the Japanese yen was at its very highest. Japanese companies at the time were buying golf courses, name brands and buildings worldwide. After the purchase, Chip Wilson spent hours pondering the value of the “homless” name to the Japanese.
It was thought that a Japanese marketing firm would not try to create a North American sounding brand with the letter “L” because the sound does not exist in Japanese phonetics. By including an “L” in the name it was thought the Japanese consumer would find the name innately North American and authentic. Chip felt that the distributor had paid a premium for the “L” so he challenged himself to come up with a name that had 3 “L’s” for his new company.
In essence, the name “lululemon” has no roots and means nothing other than it has 3 “L’s” in it. Nothing more and nothing less.
the poster was trying to say that the phonic "L" does not exist in Japanese and perhaps make a joke.
however he missed the point... in Vancouver where there is a lot of HK/China immigration rather than Japanese, the Chinese phonic "lu" does exist and should not be associated with an inability to say "lulu" - just some insight_______________
