I just tried to go on and order. It's now sold out on ebay.
However, the tomtop one works. Just ordered!
Thanks for the heads up.

[Merged] 300 lumen Cree Flashlight (Q5) @ $7.10 USD (or cheaper) (free s/h) + review
So as most of you on site I have ordered Meritline 200 lumen Cree (Q3) flashlight in October and that light has been great. However, Meritline only has it on sale once in a while for about $9. I have looked at other alternatives and have found this flashlight with better specs (300 lumens, Q5) at a cheaper price (Less then $7 when I ordered, they had about 10% at the time)
. I had my doubts it would be better, I thought it would be same specs at best.....well, I was wrong. This flashlight is visually identical to Meritline one discussed in this thread:
http://forums.redflagdeals.com/merit...pping-1096226/
IMO it is more powerful as I have just tested with identical batteries. (*some people reported it to be about the same output*)
Other members have also previously mentioned other sellers who may sell for less, but I have no experience with them. You can find this flashlight directly on TopTom's website for ($7.10 USD + free shipping)
http://www.tomtop.com/7w-300lm-mini-...ight-lamp.html
*Keep in mind that it may take up to a month for you to get, as most other sites/stores based out of China. But at this price and free shipping, it's worth the wait. Paying by PayPal is recommended, but not required.*
Additional discounts:
1. 10% off flashlights code: TT10APR30 (brought to you by "__wizard__")
2. If you register and sign up for the newsletter (and then unsubscribe after), you'll get 70 points (50 for registering, 20 for the newsletter) which you can use right away. Save another $0.70! (brought to you by "chronos")
3. If you are buying batteries or chargers here is the code for 12% off: VA229 (brought to you by "toysareforboys")
TopTom also sells same units on E-bay for a bit more ($7.69 USD + Free shipping), but they are out of stock for now:
Here is the link to the one I ordered previously:

Why this flashlight is good:
- 300 lumen cree
- price, no other light for similar price with the same specs?
- uses regular AA battery with good output, use rechargeable or more powerful batteries for even more
- can be focused
- good build quality, flashlight feels solid
- cool factor

If you have any additional coupon code or information on price, quality, seller, or anything related to this flashlight model or comparable model please share it with others in this thread so we can all benefit from that. Thank you.Last edited by Andro; Apr 11th, 2012 at 03:22 PM.

So I assume this can take either an AA battery OR a 14500...not both...correct?
Also you will only get 300 lumen with the 14500 battery?
Thanks.

The description says, "Battery: 1 * AA / 1 * 14500 3.6v Battery (not included)." An AA battery puts out 1.5V and a rechargeable AA puts out 1.2V while the 14500 puts out 3.6V. Will this flashlight put out the same 300 lumens with all of these batteries or is that rating only for the 14500 battery?
