I had one out of my 18 in the green (OHI was up 0.42%). On the plus side I beat the market with my 1.62% loss for the day :)

Down 0.70% for the day. I will survive.

All of my stocks were down.
Two bond ETFs were up and one REIT was up.

Went down 2% yesterday. Looking at premarket data, looks like I'll be down another 2% today. Pretty brutal :( but hoping it recovers soon.

A market decline of 50 to 90% over a few years is brutal. It's happened in the past and can very well happen again. Not a prediction.

1929 to 1932.
Thanks. With all the buy side and pension funds, that's never going to happen in my lifetime.

Another bloody red day!
It was looking like that was going to be the case, but then just after you posted your comment it started climbing, and is currently above yesterday's close!

Can I revive this thread? ha ha, maybe OP can change title to "Another bloody RED YEAR on the TSX)

TSX has been horrible in 2017 "relatively", or in the last decade I think? Obviuosly energy, resources, and now even financials are underperforming. Relative to our RE or crude spot prices
