Not a rumour. It’s approved and you can wear a hockey jersey or teams colors. Thumbs Up Sign

The announcement at our depot mentioned having to wear your safety vest over the jersey.

Does anyone know what it would take or the implications involved in resurrecting LCUC? I think it's time to seriously peruse this.

We're so tired from our daily back-breaking labours that we don't have any energy left to feel properly sorry for ourselves.

Addresses are hard..…
Folding all those flyers makes it way worse to carry. Just bend it before you slot stuff it.

They go around the depot looking at collated flyers? You're allowed to collate them nested, but they have to be un-nested on delivery, else you in big doodoo.

Put a transfer in for LC and come back and say the same thing.

Thought not...

Nesting is when you put a bunch of flyers INSIDE Of another flyer to kind of hold them all together, and thereby easier for you to keep the flyers together and organized. This is technically not allowed. If someone is going to look at the flyers, this wouldn't matter. However, you have to remember that it is managements joy to make your job as difficult as possible, even over something as stup*d as this....

For the oldies on why you want everybody to make more:

If we make 19 and you want to make more than 28 then management will say look, kids making 19 you make 28, why don't you go home.
however if we make 25 and management say look kids making 25, and you can say they are as fast as a turtle and cant even finish a piece in a day.

at $19 my whole class quit.

training likely costs more than $3000 per person and $50,000 for the class, one year quit rate for my region is ~90%. The savings(if any) from paying new guys less is minimal, the point is to get the old guys who worked here a long time, for years to receive 0 raises.

correct me if the numbers I got online are wrong,
ten years ago you were making $25, now you make $28, ten years from now you probably make $30
ten years ago min wage was ~$8, now it is ~$14, in ten years we could reach as high as $20.

~4x to ~1x min wage
see the trend here? see why everybody quit? Would you do this job for min wage, I would if I have no desire to succeed in life, find no rewards, even though I'm the love to work my ass off type of person. See the oxymoron in this job? Ten years from now a cheeseburger meal at mcD might cost you $30.

If anyone is BRAVE enough to take the flagpole and run with it, be assured there is enough brain power in amongst the letter carriers to fight for equality. I will vote for you with both arms and legs.
