on the Canada Tire flyer this week there was a small attachment, 1 day only deal saturday the 18april. That BBQ is 120$ off, 179$ instead of 299$.
I checked them and I think I like the Master Chef better too but With that deal I will probably go with the Centro 2800
Still i like the Chef Master T420 a lots, 269$

No its not. Why not link directly to the HD product? You can order this online and I've seen it at other HDs. Actually a better deal that the Q220 if you plan to buy the stationary cart. Note though: The Q300 cannot be removed from its stand.

Also for an alternative to the Weber Q, the Napoleon Travel Q is on sale at Home Hardware this week for $180 and its stand is $70. Not amazing savings but a good alternative, Napoleon makes great BBQs too.

I have a 5-year-old NG Centro and it's not the best quality - burns a bit unevenly - but I'll tell you one thing: when I needed replacement parts (the top grill) I called the 1-800 # and got one at a very reasonable price - you always expecxt to get ripped off on replacements, especially if they're OEM - delivered in 2 days. Terrific customer service.

Sheridan BBQ
Has anyone ever tried the "Sheridan" Barbeque from Walmart?
I saw it there for about 200 bucks,
it's got 3 seperate cast iron burners, no side burner(which I don't find i needed in the past) The build didn't look to great, but the price looked good to me
any advice would be good

So I walk into Home Hardware in Langley BC looking for a Weber Genesis cause I saw a whole bunch outside. There prices for a natural gas were 1100 and 1200 hundred depending on on a side burner.
I spoke to the worker there who said that these were not the Home Depot Weber grills and they were better constructed. Now I did notice that the tops came in Black, Red and a Orange kind of colour something that Home Depot does not offer and I could find nothing on Webers website on these grills. In fact there website only lists black.
As well Home Hardware's website has the same part numbers as Home Depot on these grills.
Anyone have any ideas or info? I did not get the actual part number off the grill as with a 20% off sale this weekend it brings the grill down $200 at HD. It this just a sales gimmick or a smoke screen by HH?

A Weber Genesis is a Weber Genesis, there is no sub-categorie of Weber. If you buy it at HH instead of HD you gonna get the same quality for sure, but you gonna pay 20% more that's all. Maybe you could try to pricematch HD with HH and pay the same price or a little bit less (10% pricematch difference)

I bought a similar model last year, with side burner, and was the previous years model. Was regular like $400, but clearance price because of old model. Got it for like $279, and is a gas not propane.
I love it.

Vermont Castings
Ottawa South Keys Home Depot has two NG models tucked away upstairs; a three burner for $399.20 and a five burner for $919.20, both units would qualify for the further 20% discount on right now. I don't know the model numbers since the info was received over the phone and HD staff weren't big on going upstairs to source them out in the first place.
Worthwhile checking them out if you're interested in a natural gas unit.

Here's where they try to confuse you.
The Genesis models are EP-310, EP-320, S-310, and S-320. The difference between the 310 and 320 are the side burners and the difference between the EP and S models is painted steel (EP) or stainless steel (S).
Now, where it gets a little confusing is that HD carries exclusively a E-320 model, so it's painted steel (only carry black) and it has a side burner. The "E" models have porcelain-enamelled cast-iron cooking grids and Flavorizer bars, where as the "EP" and "S" models are stainless steel.
But like someone else said, a Genesis model is a Genesis model._______________
Everything up there
, not in quotations, is In My Opinion (IMO). So we're clear!

Can I get your expert opinions on these? I'm looking to spend as little as possible but get as much out of it as possible.
$199 Broilmate at homedepot
$239 Broilmate at homedepot (Sale from 299)
$300 Broil King at sears.ca (then -$20 coupon?)
If quality doesn't increase SIGNIFICANTLY from one to the other, I'd like to just buy the cheapest one. Thanks in advance!
