If anyone wants to get a jump on next year, a buddy was out in the east end and saw Millwork has the Broil King Crown 90 propane on for $379.99 this week. Might be worth the trip out if you're looking for an inexpensive grill.

Received my Lowes daily email and they have the Char-Broil 4 Burner Commercial Series for $298 with $100 off special value coupon.
You would need to purchase the Natural Gas coverter kit for ~$60, but it looks to be a decent BBQ. Item # 332790 Model #466244011.
Any thoughts?

Any decent boxing day deals in BBQ's? Mine blew over and broke a month ago and I'm looking for a replacement. Will need to convert it to a natural gas one of its not natural gas by default (which I find most of the cheaper ones are not).

Check for sale BBQs at Zellers, which can be had for an additional 50% off with the "Cucumber" coupon in the other thread. The Beaumark BBQs can be pretty good quality in the upper end units and should be around $200 now, down from around $700.

Nice idea. I haven't seen a BBQ at Zellers since the fall though. I'll take a look.

I picked up a Beaumark 5 burner, side burner, digital timer, rotisserre, stainless steel with drawers reg.$500, marked to $375, then $183 with the coupon - a steal of a deal at that price, hope it lasts. Seems pretty heavy duty

Picked up a heavy duty bbq cover as well for reg.$40 for $20 with the coupon

Home Depot at Warden & Ellesmere: Weber Q handle light (#6503) down from $39.99 to $12.00. Around eight or nine left after I grabbed mine at around 1 p.m.

They also had Q full-length covers for $19 IIRC and shishkabob sets for $20 down from $45.

There were about 8 Vermont Castings propane BBQ's on the floor at Costco in Saskatoon yesterday. I believe they are the 410 series but I couldn't see any model number on the box
Specs are:
4 main burners 54,000 btu
15,000 btu rotisserie burner
Cast iron lid end caps
Rotisserie Kit
Cast iron grates
Cooking area 753 sq in.
Cover included

Also has a grilling light

Price is $999.99 might not be a bad price but I can't find much in the line of comparable prices on the web. Only a couple of American sites that are asking over $1400 for a 401 series

Yes I saw those in Prince George too. Looked interesting. See photo below. They didn't have any assembled - only boxed.

Canadian Tire has some possibly decent BBQs on half price right now too, such as this Napoleon CT485 RSB Stationary Natural Gas BBQ for $525, but I think I'll hold out for better quality.
