We tailgate lots in the summer after hockey and I’m always jealous of the guys with Travel Qs. They pack up so convenient and are carried away one handed like a laptop bag. I have a Coleman that is like a Weber Q I had to carry it like a pot of water with 2 hands until I bought a carry bag.

I'm looking for a small/medium-size natural gas BBQ in the $1000 price range. Any suggestions?

True.. portability is a huge factor! I might go with the Travel Q 285 since it has two burners and 12000BTU in total as well as it's quite portable with the cart. Hope to find a good deal somewhere in Canada.

Define "medium"? 3 burners?

Anyway. Broil King Soverign series. Comes in "medium" and XL. With or without a rotisserie & side burner. Made in Canada. All stainless steel grates. Last few pages of this have multiple users considering and buying it.

Costco has a Travel Q. Don’t know model for $185. Our bbq guy at hockey cooks for 20 guys no problem. Just smokies, sausage and wieners.

$185 for the travel q seems like a pretty good price

I’m thinking of getting the Weber E-410 @ $1199 this weekend at Home Depot with a free i Grill 3. Any thoughts? The 3 burner E310 or S310 (not sure of the difference) are also options at $899 with i Grill 3.

Would appreciate any thoughts. Don’t see any sales this weekend on the Weber, thought there would be with Fathers Day Sales.

ps I’m in the GTA.

not the same, old model, one big burner, so one large single zone.

i've read one person say that between a weber q and this (which their friend has) it has very uneven heat. But it is compact.

Weber ii gen non-lx is made in china.

For the same price you can consider a broil king soverign, See post 8659 just a few above. if you need 4 burner, get the xls. it has stainless steel grates while the e-410 has enameled cast iron and enameled steel tent burners.

I have the option of buying a broil king baron SS 320 for 500$ or a Weber spirit 2 SS e310 for 600$. The size difference isn't that big of a deal, but what would you recommend between the two?

This is normal.
So the grids can be rainbow coloured but the flav-r waves can't?
