How did you get it for 10$? Do you have a 3rd service with them?

The rep told me that the packages were supposed to be announced tomorrow, but they came out today for some reason. Not overly happy with it, but we'll see what happens after a couple months. I'm too attached to my sympatico.ca email address...
Brampton as well. I believe 50/10 is available in about half the areas with 25/10 but 50/10 + Fibe TV is a bit more limited.
The unlimited addon should be for all customers. It is new so I think it is just some reps have not encountered it yet and were not trained on it. Call back or while you're on hold use the online chat support and try to get them to do it. Even the chat support with their limited power can add it.

Dealing with Bell is the most frustrating thing I've ever gone through before, but I do like the DSL service. I may regret this decision, but it's only a phone call away to cancel again if they mess up.
Something similar happened to me a few years back with one of those data roaming charges that came out to over 1000 dollars. I called one rep who said they could do nothing, called a second one and said it was my own fault, and then finally a third rep was able to find a simple solution to bring it down to around 150 bucks. I just find it absurd how you can get so many different results within the same company.

i'm in north york.
got the fibe 50/10 added.
upgraded from the fibe 25/10 + fibetv+5/1 internet zero rate setup.
unlimited was also added for 10.00 but i had to get their basic phone line for 9.95 to get it at that price.
better then paying 30.00.
this is a weird offer cuz 25/10 is 54.95 but 50/10 is 49.95??
also this offer is NOT only available to Mississauga customers as a previous poster said.
50/10 is ONLY available to customers who are fed off the alcatel-lucent 7330 SLAM.
if you are being fed from CO or Stinger then 25/10 is the most your gonna get for internet alone and 15/10 if you have internet + TV.

25/10 is 58$ after the 6 months and 50/10 is 83$ after 6 months, what's weird?

r u still on zero rated?
wondering if the following is possible, getting zero rated on FIBE TV; then adding 2nd line at 25/10 and getting 10$ add on, would that work..?

Thanks. The phone rep said it was not available, but the online rep had no problems adding it.

yes i am still on zero rated.
i have 2 sagemcom's.
1 for fibetv + 5/1 internet zero rated.
1 for fibe 25/10 which is being bumped to 50/10 on tuesday.
i asked why they are doing it like this... said he can take back one of the sager's and just give me the 65/10 profile on the fibetv line.. but he said if he touched the zero rated line i would lose my fibetv promos and discounts.
but yes to answer your question it can and does work cuz that is what i got.

hmm, may have to just do that since my internet is maxed out at 15/10; are u paying retention rates on your 2nd line or MSRP rates on your 2nd internet line..?

Just called and confirmed that the unlimited package is available for an extra 10$ (if you have 3 services) or otherwise an extra 30$ to your existing plan.
I have the Bell Fibe Internet 50/50 package (250gig transfer) and pay the following
Your Bell services$53.95
Total taxes$8.08 = GST $2.70 + QST $5.38
Current bill total$62.03
I used to think that 250 gig was not enough, but on average, it's pretty spot on to what I need so adding 30$ is faily expensive as I wouldn't even use the extra transfer...
anyways, just my 2 cents.

Is it shown online if the area has 50/10 available?
I signed for the 2 yr promo. One year free.
I still had home phone from them so I pay regular price. Do they have a package with long distance province wide for existing customers?
The unlimited usage is sweet. Going to try to add it.
Thanks

yes it does.
simply go to internet then verify the services in your area by POSTAL CODE.
it will then check to see what is available in your area then list the packages.
if you have exiting services do not use phone number look-up or it will not show.
