Heres Some More People:
"horrible customer service" by yyy (from toronto)
June 2007 (Month Visited) — "a horrible experience all together. flowers were terrible, not delivered on time. when called to complain, they didn't get back to you and blame not being able to help on policies. had to phone back 4 times to talk to people and they lost records of phone calls.
"The Most Unprofessional Mother's Day Experience!!!" by Jennifer (from Waterloo, Ontario)
May 2007 (Month Visited) — "On April 17th 2007 l had ordered online, 24 Mixed Coloured Sweetheart Roses to be delivered on Mothers Day (I thought doing it early might be best! HAHA! WAS I WRONG!!). Mothers Day rolled around and the Company had sent a bouquet of flowers that were definately not the $64 worth of roses that l had ordered! I contacted the branch in Waterloo and stated they had not delivered what l had paid for, bearing in mind, l was calling from London, England, this did not seem to concern them! To cut a long story short, l was passed around from piller to post, back & forth from one department to another from the date of the 13th to 29th May!! I spoke to the Manager of the Head Office in Ottawa and also the OWNER of the Company who HUNG UP on me TWICE!!!!!! HOW PROFESSIONAL! I am now waiting to see if the flowers will now be re-delivered tomorrow! Hopefully Marilyn (the only one who seems concerned at all) will do this job properly!"

March 2007 (Month Visited) — "I recently ordered a bouquet from Bloomex. They delivered 2 days after the date that was supposed to be delivered. When the recipient received it, the flowers were damaged. I emailed and called and asked for a refund. The sales rep. told me to take pictures and email to them to show them it was damaged and said that I would get a refund after. So I got the recipient to do that(needless to mention the hassel and the pain to go through it). So i sent it, expecting a refund. Instead I receive an email from Sally (sales manager), offering a new delivery for free, not even mentioning my request for a refund. I called, and she was so unprofessional and rude and said that I need to send back the bouquet. hahahaha And she said that if they didn't have the flowers, they cannot give me a refund. So I said that I would call them and see if they still have the bits and pieces of the damaged bouquet. Luckly, they had kept some parts of the greens that wasn't damaged amongst the flowers so i arranged them to get it picked up. The next day, they did give me a refund, BUT minus some delivery charges and I had to call again. Again, Sally was extremely RUDE and it sounded like she wanted to fignt with me or something... Come on, I am the customer.... She said that they can't refund the delivery charges blah blah blah all the nonesense. I did not back down and she finally said that she would discuss it with her manager. Shortly after, they refunded it.
What really really upset me wasn't that the bouquet wasn't delivered on time... Yes, that did upset me BUT what was really wrong was the Sales Manager Sally's attitude, how she treated me and how she handled the whole situation. I really wanted to find out who the owner of this company is and address the issue. But i also was wondering maybe, they are the same kind of people, maybe it would be a waste of my time.
What is for sure is that I will NEVER SHOP AT BLOOMEX AGAIN, EVER. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.
"Worst Experience Ever" by A (from Toronto)
January 2007 (Month Visited) — "A lot of us have had bad experiences with Bloomex recently. My wife still hasn't got the flowers that were supposed to be for Valentines day (last week). Everyday I call them, they said they would deliver the flowers the next morning. That never happened! (They said they tried it once after 4pm but I doubt it. Also, they promised morning, not afternoon delivery that day!) And the manager Sally also refused to cancel my order and get me the refund even though it has been one week late. I would not suggest anyone to buy from them. Their ethics are so questionable."

Bloomex is a horrible company to deal with...stay away from them
I have ordered flowers and baskets for many years. This year I went on -line and found Bloomex and decided to order a Christmas Poinsetta for a major client of mine- you know - show appreciation. What was to be a pleasant experience has turned into an absolute embarassing nightmare. The Poinsetta was delivered a day late and it came from a neighbouring city (not sure why they would not use a florist in Edmonton but it was shipped from Calgary). When it arrived (via Canpar- regular courier)- it was crushed, the roots were exposed, the branches were broken and the dirt was all over. My client called the 1-800 # that was attached with the order. She was hoping that the matter could be rectified without me even knowing and that she would simply be able to thank me for the beautiful plant. That is not what happened though. When my client called Bloomex, she was told that they were sorry for what had happened and that a new plant would be shipped to her the next day. She was given no further instructions or requirements of the company. My client cleaned up the dirt and mess and left the damaged goods to be picked up by the janitorial staff.
Because it was the Christmas season and not a regular workday, my client made a special effort to be there when the plant was delivered so she went in to the office the next day and waited... and waited- all day...no plant arrived. She tried to call Bloomex but only got recordings and left a message but did not get a return call.
I spoke with my client on Dec 24 and asked her if she got the poinsetta and she explained what had happened. I contacted Bloomex 1-800 # and the rudeness and lack of willingness to deal with the situation began. I left my name and number but no one returned my call. I called again the next day and also emailed them. On one occasion, I spoke with a sympathetic Customer Service Rep (CSR) who said he was only taking messages and someone would get back to me. Well they did.... I got an email saying that they would require a picture of the damaged plant. I called Bloomex back and told the CSR that I did not send the plant to myself so how could I take a picture of it and that further I had been informed by my client that she had spoken with the company when the plant arrived damaged and had been told a new one was going to be shipped - no information was provided to her about taking a picture or anything like that so the plant has not been kept - why should it? It was a muddy mess and she was told it a new one was being shipped to her the next day. The CSR that I spoke with was oh so rude (her name was ***). I asked to speak with a manager but she said she was as high as anyone is ever allowed to speak with. She said that the CSR refers the customer comments to the managers and they respond and that NO ONE ever gets to speak with the managers. She also said it did not matter what number I called that showed on the website, I will always be directed to the bank of CSR's. It appears that the so-called "managers" hide behind the security and impersonalness of emails. Rude, belligerent and unaccommodating- that was my experience with BLOOMEX. This rude CSR told me that nothing could be done because company policy rules. She also said next time "maybe I should read the fine print".
I wish I would have done some research first. When this happened to me I went onto the web and was surprised at how so many people have had problems with this company. They are rude and unaccomodating. They do not deliver what they say they will or when they say they will and if the goods show up damaged, you are on the hook for them.
I was very humiliated and embarassed in front of my client. Here it is Dec 31 and I have not heard back from Bloomex management. I hope that this email will help save others from dealing with Bloomex and having to endure the horrible experience I have gone through. Never ever again!

Bloomex is bogus
I ordered roses to be delivered the same day by 5 pm.
I received a confirmation email that the order was according to them "1.delivery address is verified. 2. payment is processed. 3. production is scheduled 4. delivery route is assigned according to our delivery policy and your instructions."
I called at 6pm to inquire as to the status of the order and was on hold for 10 minutes on their automated system. After 10 minutes I was told by the system that there was nobody available to take my call because of the busy holiday orders? Probably because they were still backlogged from still not being able to deliver Christmas flowers, lol (My order was placed Jan 14th in the morning).
I called back afterwards and spoke to someone. They said that a manager would call me back in 5-10 minutes. No call was received and I called back an hour and a half later and the guy said he would send another message to the manager. I still haven't heard back several hours later.
BTW the saddest part is that their automated system said that when you leave a message your request will be responded to in 24 hours AND that if you inquire again then your request will be put at the BOTTOM of the que !!!!!! Now that is a dedicated commitment to service excellence.
This place is a complete joke. Don't waste your time or money and order from a reputable place

Bloomex Sucks
Stay away from this company! I ordered a Christmas arrangement to be delivered, obviously, before Christmas. I received a confirmation that the arrangment had been delivered on the 21st. Imagine my surprise when I found out it had actually been delivered on the 28th of December and arrived in very bad shape. The person I sent it to didn't have the heart to call me when it was delivered to let me know it was all dried out and she had to throw it away. When I found out I immediately called Bloomex to complain and was told since she threw it out they not only wouldn't refund my money but wouldn't supply a replacement. I aske to speak to a Manager and was told Managers do not speak with customers. They only email their reply. I have sent numerous emails in response to their emails and have left messages. None of my emails or requests to speak to a Manager have been acknowledged. I suggested that Bloomex speak with CanPar which is who they use for their deliveries to try and determine the problem and to get refunds from CanPar so that they can in turn refund those of us who are unhappy with their service. I guess they don't care about customer service because they haven't done anything about it. Run, don't walk away from Bloomex!

If you used your credit card then I would suggest disputing with them. (dont bother calling them again and again. It's obivoius they have ZERO customer service skills and staff are incompetent). They in turn will work with you and take the charges off you and extract money back from them. That would get things moving.. and at worst a refund.. at best maybe a call from BLOOMEX to resolve the matter.

Screw Bloomex!!!
I am REALLY pissed off!!!
I ordered from bloomex... its now 2 days later... and nothing has showed up! Think about it, Its your mothers birthday and she thinks you have forgot!!!
This company is not only being rude and ignorant to their customers but ruining personal relationships that are supossed to be special and memorable times!!! I was hung up on, it took them who knows how long to answer my questions, sometimes i didn't even get an answer. I've been on the web looking at how many people have got screwed by them! Why are we taking this?? WE NEED TO RETALIATE! This company is enjoying our hard earned money when we get nothing in return.
I'm going to make action, If you or know someone that has had a problem with bloomex , I want to hear about it. We need to get this company out of business.
WE DESERVE A SERVICE THAT ACUALLY CARES!!!! NOT JUST ONE THAT SAYS THEY DO!

Jebus... Had no idea this thread was still alive. Sorry to hear about all of your terrible experiences.
If you've been burned by Bloomex, please share your experiences here. We clearly need to get the word out, since this company apparently hasn't changed one bit since I first posted about them, almost a year ago now. And we'll definitely make sure this thread stays on page one closer to Valentine's day this year.
On a lighter note, I literally lol'd at this thread turning up #3 in a Google search for Bloomex. Thanks for pointing that out. ^^;

No service from Bloomex
I also have issues with this bad company.
In December, I ordered flowers to be delivered in another city and they were dead on arrival.
The day after, I call them and they say to me that they will send a new set of flowers with no charge.
Four days later, no flowers were sent. Then, I call back. They say that they need a picture of the dead flowers and that no flowers will be sent. Too late, the flowers are in the garbage. No one keeps dead flowers...
They should have called me at the moment they realize their mistake, if they was one.
They don't want to listen, they don't care, they hang up on you. They just want to take your money. They don't deserve to have a business. Then, we ask for our money back.
Three weeks ago, we sent them a letter telling them that we will take legal action if they don't refund us. The day after, they send me an email saying that we never gave them the address for them to resend the flowers... Trying to give an excuse... But, I have all of the communications that I sent and received from them. Since I forwarded that proof, no news from them...
They are really a joke. Hopefully we will be able to have justice.
A reminder, keep all of the records of the bad service you received from them. I will be usefull if we have the chance to get our money back.

Absolutely. You'll need some sort of documentation if you request a chargeback from your CC company.
