Wow... just wow.
imho DC was the best thing to hit the BOND franchise since Connery. I guess it has a lot to do with whom you grew up with or first saw in the role.
PB added nothing to the series. What a Nancy boy. Totally unbelievable in the role.
I for one enjoyed the edge that DC brought back to BOND

There eventually be Bond Movie made because they make a lot of money. Bond is a franchise that is popular worldwide. When the financial mess is cleared up, there will be another Bond Movie.
The problem is that MGM is relying on one movie franchise to support the entire film company. What else has MGM done besides the Bond films?
And yes, Quantum was boring._______________

Instead of Bond always going after criminals in 3rd world/corrupt countries in the world. MGM should really make a Bond film about Wall Street, how they are criminals, and trying to overthrow the British government. Bonds takes out the American bankers just for the heck of it.
That will get MGM's fortunes going.

Remember the 2007-8 WGA strike? They had to complete the script before the strike deadline in order to film Quantum in time for a Nov 2008 release. When I saw QoS and noticed the lack of dialogue compared to CR... I suspected the strike was to blame.
Craig finally admitted the strike affecting the script when promoting TGWTDT in December: http://collider.com/daniel-craig-qua...oblems/130951/
On these forums, I remember people complaining about the strike ruining Heroes.... affecting the late night talk shows... but surprised no one connected the dots about it affecting QoS.Last edited by Madchester; May 21st, 2012 at 01:01 PM.

Most unappealing teaser
I don't know about everyone else but that teaser was boring. They got to try harder to get me in the theater.

I think DC makes a really great bond. The last one that took place down Paraguay was not very good but that was not his fault. He makes a great gritty bond, and has the muscle and toughness to actually support the role and add a degree of believability, which some of the previous bonds lacked. That's my opinion and I am sticking to it!

Teaser was showing most of the earlier filming in London, Scotland, and Shanghai.
Only very brief glimpses of the Istanbul and India shooting from the last two months.
The big rumour floating around is that Ralph Fiennes character will become the new M replacing Judi Dench's M. Either Dench's M retires or is killed in this film. (possible spoiler)
